Summer 2017
For those of you who don't know me I'm Haley Ring, shop owner of Pippa and Indy. I'm a stay at home mom of two little girls and we live on the east coast about five miles from the beach. I won't lie, choosing summer colors is hard for me. I tend to lean towards more neutral muted tones, so I started planning our summer line extra early this year. I wanted bright colors, hand dyed bows, and pompom everything. I chose the majority of my solid colors based on requests from you guys which was a huge help. I was lucky enough to have Odessa and Sons hand dye fabric for us, the colors are vibrant and the fabric is so soft, I couldn't be happier with them. I honestly could have hoarded all of these for myself.
One thing I knew I NEEDED for our summer line was a shoot to help me get excited for the season and you guys excited for the product. I searched for the perfect colors, styles, suits, accessories, and bribes, a lot of bribes, for months. I'm lucky enough to call photographer Kate Supaa my friend and her daughter Lyla made the perfect bow model. I kept my expectations of how this shoot would go very low just incase we didn't get a single shot, I mean our models were five little girls ages eight months to three years. Guys, I knew this was going to be a difficult task but it was like herding cats chasing laser pointers and all the lollipops in the world weren't going to get all five girls in a photo together. After a long exhausting evening sand eating, little girl chasing, and hair bow changing, Kate and Trinity managed to get some great shots and I hope you love everything as much as I do.
